Steel Matting / Welded Wire Mesh
Steel Matting / Welded Wire Mesh
Wire mesh is metal screen made by interweaving or welding individual wires together to form a mesh-like pattern. It consists of evenly spaced wires arranged in both horizontal and vertical directions, creating a grid-like structure.
Wire mesh is commonly used in a wide range of applications due to its versatility and strength. Ours comes in different sizes and wire diameters, allowing it to be tailored to specific needs.
Details
Steel matting or welded wire mesh is an electric fusion welded pre-fabricated joined grid consisting of a series of parallel longitudinal wires with accurate spacing welded to cross wires at the required spacing. Steel matting is very versatile and has numerous applications. Our wire mesh conforms to ASTM A-82 / ASTM A-1064 (2017) and comes in different specifications. Application
Building And Construction
Wire mesh is used in pre-cast slabs or walls, reinforcing bars, architectural use, rock retention, roads, bridges, and highways.
Fencing, Caging and Enclosures
The most recognizable uses of wire mesh are fencing, caging and enclosures. Our wire mesh screen is frequently used as chicken wire. It's also used to fence other livestock like pigs, or alternatively used to fence out unwanted wildlife. Some of the largest zoos in the country use our wire mesh to keep animals safe in their spaces.
Machine and Safety Guards
Steel matting is also used to prevent unauthorized access to secured areas. It acts as a barrier to protect equipment and machinery or to guard against vandalism of windows and doors.
